Much like the recent storm swept through the northwest the night before, the home side overwhelmed the visitors away at the their home ground. It was a statement three goal triumph for Andrée Jeglertz’s side due to goals from Rebecca Knaak, Bunny Shaw and Lauren Hemp. It was a display that clearly signaled their championship potential as they strengthened their place at the league summit.

Consecutive Setbacks for United

This outcome represented successive league setbacks for Skinner's side for the maiden instance since spring 2024, placing them a significant margin off the league leaders with their title hopes severely dented.
